I have a new Sanders Blog and it's called Sanders' Swanky Nest :)
For those who were or weren't following the twins website (about my baby), I've cancelled that site!!! I got tired of paying $12 a month for it, especially when thanks to the BLOG WORLD, I can do it all myself for FREE!!! Plus, this makes it more fun and personal :) I hope you enjoy it as much as I will! Also, I've archived all my old postings from the website, as well as photos & videos!!!!
Enjoy,
Em

All my old postings....
Ok, I couldn't figure out how to get the gray lines off. I also, didn't know know how to upload every single comment and for some reason I couldn't upload into a document, so here it all is, all my comments that I had made on my previous website. My first post ever was on April 25th, 2005...when the boys were only 3 months old!!! Wow!! Time flies!!
Hello Out There....

Not sure who is still checking this site. I've been too busy taking care of Kindergartener's now, so gotta get caught up here :) I'm finally adding a ton of new photos and videos.I know especially, my family back in NJ will be thrilled about this!!!
A quick update:
Boys are enjoying Kindergarten. We just had our first snow/ice week last week and since the schools were shut down the boys got to miss school 4 days in a row!
The boys have been playing Soccer for a year now and are really enjoying it. Aidan loves to be the goally and attack those balls(even though they really don't have goallies at their age) and Riley loves to run the field, he's super fast!!
Boys had a great Christmas and also just turned 6. They wanted a Mario Party. They had alot of fun, even though they wouldn't get off the couch so we could all sing happy birthday to them :)
We, along with my parents, were able to take Aidan & Riley to their first Broadway Musical - MAMMA MIA!! Thanks to my Dad & Aunts in New Jersey, who've always been hooked on ABBA, the boys have really loved the same music and Mamma Mia movie. So they really had a blast getting to see it live on stage and all the music. Aidan was getting tired toward the end, but Riley wanted to go up on the stage to dance, but of course that couldn't happen :) He's becoming quite the entertainer in our house. He loves to dance to music, big time!! He's pretty good!! Hope to get a video of him on here dancing & Aidan spinning. Aidan loves to spin ;)
Okay, that's probably enough for now. I'm sure I'll have more later :)
Enjoy!!

Haven't been on here in a long time!! Today is Aidan & Riley's last day at their little preschool!! It's sad to see it already here :( They'll be starting kindergarden in August!! We are in the process of builing a new home over in Saratoga (Keller, TX). It's about 15 min from where we live now. The elementary school over there is really good and that's where the boys will start in August!! I can't even think about that right now. I'm just trying to get some photos and new videos uploaded today.

More updates...
For being 4 year olds, the boys have been to Disneyworld 3 times, with our most recent Sander's Family trip back in June 2009 and we had a blast, which I will post videos and photos of. They've also been to New Jersey 4 times, with our most recent trip back in April and then a 2nd trip with just mommy back in August. They had a blast!!
Thanks to my Grandparents, the boys have been in TKO (Karate) since March '09 and are doing really well. They are both yellow belts on a jr. dragon level and Aidan competed in a tournament on 10/11 and got his very first trophy!! He's so proud of it. Riley chickend out at the last minute, so no trophy for him.
We went to the State Fair last weekend and loved it!! The boys were really enjoy it and it's become an annual tradition to go with them. It's so much fun!!
We are all sooo busy and growing, and can't believe it'll be Halloween this weekend!! They are having their halloween party at school on Weds and are soo excited :)

HALLOWEEN 2008

HALLOWEEN 2008
Life just keeps moving fast. Aidan & Riley have already celebrated their 4th Halloween. This year they both chose their own costumes. Aidan insisted on being The Incredible Hulk. He made a really good one, too. He had the moves down and everything. Although we are trying to “limit” his punching because it seems he has taken it a bit too far and wanting to be incredible hulk to everyone, by punching/pushing/and being mean. The weird thing is, we don’t let him watch any violent shows or games…so we really don’t know where it’s coming from…except from being a BOY!!!
Riley was funny about choosing his costume. At first, he wanted to be Spiderman, but then one day while we were at Target, he saw the Doctor costume and that’s what he wanted to be. He made a very believable DR, too. Who knows, maybe that’ll be his true calling in life when he grows up. It will be interesting to see.
We had a fun time out at a Halloween festival. Aidan really loved doing all the games…he’s becoming quite the competitive sportster. Thanks to Nana for having a Wii at her house…he’s becoming really skilled at the games (don’t worry…it’s all kid games, too…nothing violent). Riley, was a bit scared of the crowds and games and didn’t want to do too many of them. He did do his favorite though – bowling.
We are now approaching Thanksgiving and Christmas and soon a family vacation to Walt Disney World. We are all getting so excited about it. Nana is taking all of us plus 8 other family members for a Christmas/New Year Walt Disneyworld Vacation. We leave in 7 weeks….YEAH J This will be the boy’s 2nd time to go.
Have a Happy Fall…Y’ALL!!!!

Aidan and Riley are definitely fish. They love swimming very much. They are fearless. They will be swimming by themselves in the pool before we know it.

It's been a very busy year. JD's been good about updating the website with the photos and videos, but I've been falling behind on what's been going on here.
I just finished up the Spring semester at Tarrant County College and did really well. The boys just had their last day today at their school (a mother's day out program they're in). It was sad that it ended, but they'll be back in the fall...but then they'll be closer to 4!!!
It's hard to believe they are 3 years old now. They have become quite the little people in our household. They keep our lives entertaining and filled with non-stop love, laughter, and sometimes the craziness.
We are still working on the whole potty training thing. They were doing so well when they were 2, but ever since they hit 3 they've become "scared" of the potty.
They continue to grow and get bigger every day. They both are weighing 40 pounds and both are about 40 inches in height.
They love going to Six Flags, thanks to their Nana getting them season passes. They enjoy everything they can ride out there. They are also looking forward to their 2 major vacation trips this year. The first trip, we are going to a family reunion with my parents/sister and her family/and my family to New Jersey in August. This will be the boys 2nd airplane ride, but 1st time to remember the experience. They keep talking about "goin to new jersey in a minute". They are understanding that we are going on an airplane.
Our second trip is a Sanders' Family trip to Walt Disney World around the Christmas/New Year's Holiday. The boys are big time excited about that and understand that we're going during Christmas time. Both of the trips are going to be so much fun and very special for both sets of families. We can't wait!!!

We're back in action!!
You know you're busy when it's been over 6 months since I last updated anything. I'm so behind and have lots of cute photos and videos to share. I haven't been doing a very good job at updating this site
I honestly can't recall what went on in June, but in July we went on our first major family trip to Disneyworld. We went with Nana and Papa (JD's parents) and Aidan and Riley's older cousins - Mandy and Tracer. We all had such a wonderful time. The boys did really well there, in spite of how hot and crowded it was there. They were such awesome little troopers!!! They still bring it up and remember bits and pieces of their fabulous trip. We hope to go again really soon!!!!
In August/September, Mommy started back to school, so the boys have been pretty upset with me. They don't like it when I leave, but Daddy makes sure they do fun things together. He's taken then to lots of places by himself like Target, Walmart, Chuck E. Cheese, restaurants - places that I would NEVER go by myself. (I'm not that crazy), but of course they "Behave" for Daddy!!
The boys have also started back to school. Okay, it's only on Wednesdays for Mother's Day Out, but hey...it's still school. Aidan and Riley prefer to have their own lunch box now. Last year, they were sharing one. They also weren't taking their naps up there because all of the other kids had fun/special nap mats and Mommy didn't realize it. So, now Aidan and Riley both have their very own cool "Cars" nap mats and are taking their naps now.
September/October has also been a very busy month. Aidan and Riley have a beautiful new baby girl cousin - Sofia. Of course, they don't know what to think of her now...but they'll be getting to know each other pretty well. They are really into babies now, thanks to their other baby cousin - Oliver...who is now almost 8 months old!!! I can't believe it!!!! The boys have also been missing their Nana & Papa for over 5 weeks now, due to Papa becoming really ill. They ask about them all the time and we hope and pray that they'll be back home in a few weeks....so please keep praying for them.
We've also took the boys to their very first State Fair of Texas visit. They had such a fun time. They did really well and loved doing all the fun things out there. Riley especially, loved to watch the Trains go by and Aidan loved playing at the little "kid farm".
Today, we took the boys to the Pumpkin Patch. They've gone the past 3 years, but today was the first time they could really get into it. They had so much fun getting to jump in the bounce houses. They are getting really brave. We also got to ride on a hayride - which they had a ball on.
I can't believe the boys will be 3 years old in just 3 to 4 months (my math isn't very good right now). They have gotten so tall. People are amazed that they are still only 2, when they think they are 4.
Well, that's all I have for now. Stay tuned for more to follow....

What a busy 5 months it has been. The boys are now 27 months old. SO much has happened and I can't keep up. I can't believe it's been nearly 5 months since I've added anything to this site. I'm totally behind and hope to get everything caught up as soon as I can. The photos will be started from Easter and I'll work my way back...and someday forward :) I'll get some other videos posted and more information soon.

Christmas 2006

Christmas 2006
Christmas came and went. It was the boys' 2nd Christmas and they enjoyed it a little more this year. It took some time getting them use to opening presents, but they finally got the hang of it. They had fun playing with the boxes, the tissue paper, the christmas bags. Everyone blessed Aidan & Riley with lots of cool toys and wonderful clothes. I know it was more exciting for us to watch them experience the "Santa Clause" part of christmas. The boys did however seem to get everybody sick on my side of the family. It was one of those stomach virus thingy's that just seemed to trickle down the Sanders/Campbell/Gabbel/Reynolds family chain. It was not fun at all. One of the cute moments of Christmas times were the Christmas Lights. Aidan just loved to see all the lights. Of course, Riley did, as well. Whenever Aidan saw lights, he'd say something that sounded close to "Let's look at the Lights...with a heavy emphasis on the "ts" part. It was precious.
JANUARY:
Now it's 2007. Aidan and Riley have a new baby cousin names, Oliver Chase Reynolds. My sister had her baby boy on January 12th, 2007. We also found out this month that my sister-n-law, Anada and her hubby, Mark (JD's brother) are expecting their first baby in August 2007. So, Aidan & Riley will have 2 new cousins this year. We're all excited. Of course, they don't get it yet, but they will.
We are also approaching the boys 2nd birthday, which of course is tomorrow...January 26th!!! I can't believe it's already been 2 years!!! They are getting really tall. I don't have their weight/height measurements yet, but I do need to get them. The boys are definitely having their "Toddler 2" moments. Aidan has learned to say, NO!! He says it and means it really well. Riley is now starting to pick up on it, so you can imagine what we go through when we ask them if they want something or to do something...."NO!!!". They've also gotten really attatched to 2 blankets, now. They go everywhere with them, except for church. I draw the line there. Riley also tried something new and he likes it.....it's GRILLED CHEESE, FINALLY!!!! The boys diet is still crazy. They are still very picky about certain foods. We're hoping that will change over time.
To be continued....

Aidan & Riley are approaching ...
Thursday, December 21 2006 04:03 PM
Aidan & Riley are approaching 23 months. They'll be celebrating their 2nd birthday, next month!!!! December has been a whirlwind of craziness!! We had our choir musical at church 2 weekends ago. The boys had to go with mommy and daddy to the church many many nights. Thankfully, they were able to play in the nursery, but they were worn out. Mommy also started a new little business and has become a new consultant for once upon a family. Her link is attached below. She was driving us crazy with all the cleaning and nights away to prepare for 2 open house celebrations for people to come hear a presentation and see fun products. We also just celebrated mommy's 32nd birthday.
The boys had their flu shots yesterday and Riley wasn't feeling very well. He decided to vomit all over mommy while he was about to get the shot. Not fun at all!!!
For almost 2 months now, AIDAN is FINALLY sleeping through the night!!! He had a problem of waking up around 1am and not going back to sleep, unless he was sleeping in our bed. He's finally broken of that...YEAH!!!
Aidan can say alot of recognizable words now, such as EAT, APPLE, MORE, OUTSIDE, "wanna look at the lights" in a jibberish way.
Aidan and Riley are enjoying Christmas this year. They love seeing all the lights and all the decorations everywhere. We got our tree up, but they keep pulling the ornaments off, when mommy isn't looking and so now there's only lights on our tree.
They really love Books, Numbers, Letters, Trains, and Elmo. They are getting busier and busier everyday.
I don't have their measurements right now, but will have them after they get their immunizations.
Well, that's all for now. I just wanted to give a little update. I'm off to trying to bake some cookies ;)
Have a Merry Christmas!!!
Love,
Em

If you're reading this it means that I actually had some free time to fill you in with what's been happening in The Sanders household. You'll also get to see some adorable photos of the boys and hopefully a video or 2. We' have alot going on these past several months. We've been in our new home for almost 2 months now. Aidan and Riley are really enjoying their new place. They love to go outside and play in the back yard. Our community has a really nice park with fun playground equipment. The boys just have a blast there.
October was a fun month. The boys had their 2nd Halloween. They were both "Curious George" monkeys. The outfits were too cute, that we just had to let them match. Of course, they didn't enjoy the costume too much. They didn't like the little hat/mask, but they were troopers.
They also had their 2nd Thanksgiving. Neither one of them would eat the turkey, oh well. They did like the corn and cranberry sauce.
Aidan & Riley are quickly approaching 22 months. Their 2nd birthday is just around the corner. Time is just moving too fast for me. I want them to stay little. They have gotten so smart and so busy. There's a little jungle gym in our backyard and they love to climb up the ladder (without anyone's help) and go down the slide. It's totally cute!!!!

The boys are growing like trees. They are now 19 months old and are getting busier every day. Mommy has been too busy to keep up with them, which has made it hard for her to keep this site up. I don't even know who looks at this site, but here's an update for ya!!!
We are in the process of packing up our home and moving w/in the next 2 to 3 weeks. They boys are enjoying getting into all the boxes and all the stuff. They think they are helping, but of course they are not :) We are moving into a home that has 4 bedrooms and 2 baths. The boys will get to have a playroom and a backyard to run around in. It already has a play gym outdoors, so that will be exciting for them. The house is also near a really cute park and walking/jogging trails. The boys will be able to play on lots of jungle gyms.
Aidan has begun his "terrible 2's" phase. If he doesn't get is his way, he will let you know. He can be really stubborn,if it's not his way. He's really strong, too. He will push off on you when you're holding him, if he's upset. He loves to play hide and seek, and loves to dance. He loves to show off and entertain you. He's constantly picking on Riley. He'll push him around, take his paci or blankie. Sometimes, he'll even hide behind Riley. Of course all of this makes Riley mad. Aidan has also begun climbing out of his crib. We knew it was a matter of days. He's so smart. Now, the hard part is keeping in his bed when he doesn't want to go lay down. We're still working on this.
Riley has become a sweet-gentle little lamb. While, Aidan is off performing, Riley likes to sit some place quietly and play on his magnetic drawing board. His favorite thing to do is hear you count numbers or abc's. He really enjoys that.

Latest update...
Aidan & Riley are now 16 months old. They are so active and very smart.
Aidan is Mr. Vocal and Mr. Smarty Pants. He's becoming more and more vocal everyday. His first real word now is "Bye-Bye". He understands what it means and will wave his hand while saying it. He also understands the telephone and will hold it up to his ear and say "olleh". He also loves watching this Praise Baby DVD I have. He's always pointing at the tv/dvd player as if he's telling me to play it. He also will let me know when it's over. I can't believe how smart he is for only 16 months, but of course I haven't been around any other 16 month olds to know. He is such the HAM!!!!
Riley is Mr. Sensitive and Mr. Sweetie Pie. He does talk, but he usually keeps quiet because Aidan talks all the time. Riley just likes to look at you with his big blue eyes. He loves to run around the house, with his chubby cheeks bouncing. He loves it when you play hide and seek with him. He also loves to climb on the rocking chair. He's finally getting caught up with Aidan and has become a more adventurous climber.

Aidan & Riley are 15 months old now. They have become such little explorers. It's hard to keep up with them because they are all over the place.
Aidan is such the talker. He's starting to understand the telephone/cell phone. He'll grab his toy phone and hold it up to his mouth and tries to say hello...except it sounds like "ohla". He has also become such a little helper. He likes to put the balls up and all his toys up. He has a habit of hiding his pacifiers...which makes it hard for Mommy or Daddy to find them. He also understands the tv remote and the ceiling fan remote. Too smart!!!
Riley is so funny, espcecially when he gets mad. He'll walk backwards, sit down on the ground, and lie backwards...while crying. Or if he's really mad, he'll just start running to another part of the house, hide in a corner and start crying. It's really funny to watch. He's been doing this for almost 2 weeks now.
I think that both the boys are very smart. They love music. Whenever they take their naps or go to bed, I have to leave the radio on. If I try to turn it off, they will wake up and start crying. They know!!!
What the boys love to eat now: cheese, hotdogs, rasins, pretzels, grapes, cherries, oranges, spagetti, chicken, cranberry sauce, ice cream, fritos, fish, macaroni & cheese, strawberries, and peaches.
Bye for now ;)

Finally, another update!!!
Friday, April 14 2006 03:35 AM
Finally, another update!!!
Let's see, the boys are 14 1/2 months old now. They are exploring everything. They get around really well. They love playing, especially at the park, chuck e. cheese or the mall's play area. They love to be free.
Aidan has become our actor/singer. I think he's taking after my Dad, who also loves to act and sing. Aidan has been standing on surfaces, like a stage, and will start singing, talking, dancing. He loves to dance. He also likes to climb on everything he can. He'll also repeat the word no, whenever you say it to him. When he says no, he'll also wave his finger. It's cute. He's such a chatter box. He always has something to say. He's been eating really well. He loves cheese, chicken, tomatoes.
Riley is the more studious one. He enjoys looking at books. He'll sit on floor for several minutes just looking at the pages. He loves to be read to. He's not much of a climber yet, but he's trying. We're still working on his food habits. He still prefers baby food over table food. He'll at least try something, but then spits it out. He loves raisins. He'll steal Aidan's, but that's okay because Aidan steals Riley's cheese. They've been sleeping through the night for the past 3 weeks. It's been WONDERFUL!!!
Everyone tells me how well mannered they usually are. They are really good, sweet and very smart boys. They never fight with each other. Occaisonally, Aidan will take something from Riley...but will give it back.
That's all I have for now. Be sure to check back for more updates.

Monday, January 23 2006 05:12 AM
In just 4 days, Aidan and Riley will be celebrating their 1st birthday!! I can't believe how fast this year has gone. You always hear about it, but never can imagine it ever getting here. They have been doing so many new things since the last time I updated this site.
They are both walking, trying to talk, and trying to eat more table foods. They love cheerios and crackers. They love ELMO and playing with balls. They are getting taller and are both in a size 6 shoe. We got them their 1st pair of cool tennis shoes, but they are still getting used to them.

Boys are 9 months today. ...
Thursday, October 27 2005 12:10 AM
Boys are 9 months today. They had their dr's appointment. Aidan weighs 20lbs 14oz...and Riley weighs 20lbs 4oz. Aidan's height is 28 1/4in and Riley's was 30in. So...Aidan weighs more than Riley, but Riley is longer than Aidan.
I never have the time to update this site, but I'll try to fill you in as best as I can. Both boys are really enjoying their baby food now. Their favorites are Peas, Applesauce, Pears, and Fruit Medely. They also love to gnaw on saltine crackers. We're slowly introducing them to finger foods. They enjoy feeding themselves with the crackers, as well as drinking from sippy cups. Aidan has it down pretty good. He knows how to hold it and drink from it, although he usually wants to just play with it. Riley is a little more lazy with the sippy cup. He wants you to hold it for him.
Aidan and Riley are becoming such sweet boys. They have really great personalities. Aidan has become very voistrous. He loves to make "indan" noises. Riley is more shy, but he can be really loud...especially when he makes his lion noises. I have a video of him doing that. I'm still working on Aidan, though.
So far, they both only have 2 bottom front teeth. They've been teething for the past month now, so we're waiting to see when the other ones will start poking through. They are both crawling all over the place. They also can stand along something and walk around things. Aidan is trying to stand on his own. JD thinks he'll be walking first. Could be this month....
As of right now, their favorite things to do are: being swung in the air by daddy, chasing Maggie, standing in their cribs while hanging onto the edge and bouncing up and down. They also love it when Mommy let's them crawl around in their room. For those of you that don't know this, we have a screen door up so no animals can get in.
They also got bigger baby carseats. They are the convertible ones. They still have to face the back until they reach age 1. They're getting use to them now. The only thing that Mommy & Daddy miss, was how much easier it was to take them into resturants. Now they sit in highchairs, but don't always want to stay in them.
Well that's all the info for now.
Bye Bye...

I'm sorry that it's taken me along time to update this site. There's been too much going on. I'll try to get it caught up this week. The boys are 8 months now. They are crawling, pulling themselves up on things, and standing. They are going everywhere. They had their first plane ride in August. We went to New Jersey to see my side of the family. They had a great time and the plane ride wasn't too bad. I'll keep this short for now and will come back with more information and picutres.
Thanks for being patient,

Well it's official!!! Both boys ...
Wednesday, June 22 2005 04:31 PM
Well it's official!!! Both boys are rolling over now. I couldn't believe my eyes. It started with Aidan on Tuesday. I laid him down in his crib so I could go fix his bottle. When I came back there he was....on his tummy, holding his head up high and just smiling as big as he could. Now that's all he wants to do is roll over. The only thing is he's not quite sure how to roll back onto his back.
Riley also has started to roll over. I was really surprised at this because he hasn't really been trying as much as Aidan has. He really thinks he's "Big Stuff" now :) It's so cute!!! I'll try to get some video and pictures of it.
The boys are definitely growing. They appear to be longer now. They are still in 3-6 month clothes, but who knows how much longer. They'll be 5 months old in just 5 days.

Hi everyone,
Sunday, June 5 2005 12:24 AM
Hi everyone,
I've found a much more exciting website to use to keep you updated with what's been going on with the Sander's household...and of course, with Aidan & Riley. I find this website to be user friendly.
So, please note the new website. I'll no longer be posting stuff on the old one. Also, please bare with me as I update this site. I have lots of current pictures and info to add...so keep checking back.
Have fun!!!
Emily

The boys are now 4 ...
Tuesday, May 31 2005 03:15 PM
The boys are now 4 months old. They've been teething for the past 3 weeks now. At first, Aidan had it really bad. They both would get extremley fussy and would just start screaming...on top of waking up several times a night. You could tell Aidan's gums and his tummy were really hurting....poor Aidan!! Now he's acting a little better. He's still teething which means at times, he is still hurting. Riley seems to be acting really fussy now. He acts like he's in constant pain. He'll just scream at the top of his lungs. I feel so terrible!! It's so hard to know exactly what they need.
They both had their 4 month checkup on 5-27-05. Aidan weighs 15 lbs and measuring 24.....Riley weighs 15 1/2 lbs and measuring.... They got their immunizations. Poor Riley developed a fever later that day from the shots...but thank goodness for baby tylenol!! He hasn't been himself ever since then, though.
We tried them out on Rice Cereal for the first time last night. It took Aidan a little bit to get use to, but then he ate it, but was still hungry...and even woke up twice last night. Riley, on the other hand, wouldn't have anything to do with it. He didn't like it one bit!!! We'll keep trying though!!

The boys have officially started teething this week. They've been very cranky, fussy, and totally off their sleeping schedules. It seems like poor Aidan has it worse than Riley right now. Aidan will just start screaming and won't stop. I wonder how long it will be before they get their 1st tooth?
Aidan is trying to roll over now. He's constantly looking over his right shoulder and trying to turn his body over. It's so cute. Riley hasn't tried yet, but instead he's trying to sit up. He's raising his head off his bouncer and his car seat more and more everyday. So - I have one baby who is trying to sit up while the other one is trying to roll over. I'm having fun watching them though :)

Wednesday, May 18 2005 12:28 AM
It never fails. Every Tuesday is Emily's Bible Study night and I am left alone with Aidan and Riley. I think they know that I am there by myself because it never fails, they gang up on me. For the 3 to 4 hours that I am there alone with them, I am trying to console at least one of them if not both. I don't see how Emily does it while I am at work.
They aren't really all that bad. It just happens that Emily is gone when it is getting closet to there bed time so I have to deal with them as they are getting really tired. I have yet to have anyone over to help me. I've been able to handle it all by myself. Not bad for someone who has never held a baby before Aidan and Riley.

Monday, May 16 2005 10:28 PM
Today is the first day that I've actually had time to add things to the website. Aidan & Riley are now 15 1/2 weeks...3 1/2 months old now. IT's hard to believe that they'll be 4 months old in a few weeks!!! Where has the time gone? It seems like yestereday we just brought them both home from the hospital and we had no CLUE what we were getting into...and now it's like they've always been here, apart of our lives, our routine and our living!!! It's amazing how easier parenting becomes as the months go by. I feel like I'm doing a good job. It's been challenging with 2 babies though. I'm luck to get any laundry done or even have our home spotless.
I actually got out the other day, by myself, and took the boys to the mall. It was a little challenging at first, but they did really well. It was a NICE change to get out of our house and do something different!!!
ABOUT THE BOYS!!
AIDAN - is getting cuter every day!! He's talking, cooing, laughing alot more. He's so alert, so alive, so vivacious. He doesn't want to miss anything. He's got the biggest bluest eyes and they just stare deep down into your soul. He definitely knows who is mommy and daddy are!!! He does have his "tantrum" moments though and can get really "angy". He's been sleeping through the night now, maybe waking up an hour for a bottle, but then goes back to bed. Overall he's a very happy baby and I'm very thankful for that!!!
RILEY - is also getting cuter every day!! He's been coming out of his "quiet" shell and will talk, coo and giggle more. He laughs alot whenever I tickle his chin or his chest. It's so cute!!! He's been lifting his head up more and more. I think he'll be sitting up in no time. I can't keep him still on the play mat because he likes to scoot himself back. He loves to cuddle. He definitley can get really upset when he's hungry.

He's been lifting his head up more and more. I think he'll be sitting up in no time. I can't keep him still on the play mat because he likes to scoot himself back. He loves to cuddle. He definitley can get really upset when he's hungry.

For the first time, I took the babies to the mall...all by myself. I always thought I wouldn't be able to do it, but I did it!! I was so proud of myself. We lasted about 4 hours there. They were really good, too!! Now I know I can take them there and how to handle them. Now, I wonder if I'll be able to do the same thing at Target?

The Twins are 14 weeks today. They are getting so big. Here are some updates:
Aidan has been lifting his head, when placed on his tummy, more each day. He has found his thumb and enjoys sucking on it alot. I know it's a bad habit, but it's just so darn cute! He also smiles really big when you say hi to him.
Riley has been lifting his head up when placed on his back. He loves sucking on his right fist and willl also stare at it for hours. He's also been touching and focusing on objects that are on his bouncy seat. He's becoming more aware of things. He also giggles and laughs whenevre you tickle underneath his chin or his chest.

It's hard to believe that I am a Mommie! I've been "alone" with the boys for a week now, w/out my Mom and I must say that I "think" I'm doing a better job than I imagined. I had no confidence in myself...but here I am approaching the 2nd week and so far I think I'm handling things well. I know there will be rough days though, but at least the good days I can master!
I never thought I could actually love my babies so much. You always here about how much you'll love your children...and I never could fatham what that meant. Of course, I thought it would be some magical moment that would happen immediatley...but to me it's been a gradual thing. I think it has to do with my being ill for so many weeks. The babies are almost 3 months old now and I feel that they are the best thing that has ever happened to me!!!
Love, Em

Right now the babies are 12 1/2 weeks old...almost 3 months. Riley has discovered his fist and constantly stares and sucks at it. IT's cute. He coos and smiles and slightly laughs a bit. Aidan is cooing and just now starting to smile. He definitely loves to talk and gets bored really fast.
